Custom Joomla Development

I am the lead developer on the JEvents project - an events calendar used on thousands of websites around the world.  Additionally I am a developer on Joomfish - and contributed the codebase that enabled the multilingual capabilities of Joomla to be extended dramatically to include components like VirtueMart (the very popular online shopping solution for Joomla).

Commercial Solutions for Joomla!

In addition to my support for Joomla open source projects, I am currently developing a number of commercial components/modules/mambots.  The first of these to reach maturity is the Joomla Accelerator.  This component dramatically improves the performance of a typical Joomla website far beyond what the inbuilt caching is able to do.

I developed a multilingual menu system that means you do not need to create separate menus for each language and is very easy to administer.

I attach a screenshot to demonstrate how it is integrated into the main menu management system (with no core changes !!). Click on the image for a enlarged image

To get the dialog to appear you simply press the new "Localise" toolbar button - Note that this button is added to the toolbar via an admin module and so there are no changes to com_menus at all.To enable the menus to work you must do 3 things:

• Install and publish the admin module
• Install and publish the system mambot
• Update your menu module code to access the menu item filter
